Stuck to the Toilet

I've been known to do my best thinking and reading on a humble throne but this seems a little extreme:

According to news reports, Pam Babcock developed a phobia about leaving one of the bathrooms of the house she shared with boyfriend, Kory McFarren, so she took up residence in it, her boyfriend of 16 years bringing her meals, clothes, water, etc.

After two years, McFarren finally became concerned about his girlfriend’s behavior (she was conscious but starting to “act groggy”), so he called in authorities. Much to their shock, they discovered that the woman had actually become physically attached to the toilet seat.
A dermatologist suggested that she became adhered as a result of splinters, around which her skin quickly grew.

Everyone thinks you're a racist

Not everyone. But the dominant view is that white middle class Americans are a bunch of racists. The rich elite and the powerful medial are intellectually above such narrowmindednesses and the poor are exploited by the middle class.

Yes, the middle class is a racist class.

You know you're middle class ...

If you have a house with three bedrooms and two bathes.

Your tax rate is high and tax shelters are out of your league.

The poor think you're greedy and the rich think you're poor.

You work 60+ hours per week.

You own at least one minivan.

You have 1.5 kids.

Well, the list will grow but that's what this blog is all about.
